Powerdesk (there's both a free version and a paid version) from Ontrack. Couldn't live without it.

Oops, just noticed that I've finally become a Murcer. No more 'mini-me'.

I use Windows Commander. Very nice file tool with lots of extras (FTP client etc.). Used in conjunction with I-View and NotePad+ it's a very nice combination.

AB Commander is a good dual pane explorer replacement to try.

Looks a lot like a Windows Commander clone. Does it have FTP capability? Can it use custom text and image display tools like Notepad+ and IView?

Servant Salamander may be even better replacement. It does everything Doc said and more...

Homepage of Altap Salamander, intuitive and powerful two panel file manager for Windows.

Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

                              Thanx everybody
I know of most of these
And while they are great in their way I'm looking for something that is more of a "clone" of explorer....

I'l sheck on Salamander, i used to test its betas once.... (the official betas, not in a closed beta test )
