Have Microsoft stuffed there windows update.

At work we've noticed that windows update has decided you need to update it. You update it and reboot and it says you need to update.
This is under ME or Win2k so I've got two machines that i can't update anymore at the present moment as have several students that have tried during the day.
Note I haven't tried at home.

Have checked Windows Update on my Windows XP SP1 now, and there is no updates availible currently. Hvent tried any other OS'es yet....

Windows update stuffed my computer to many times so I keep away from it

It turned my Swedish IE into a Hungarian
And I dident even update IE

Nope still doesn't work still stuck in the same loop.
You windoze update needs updating do you want to update. Okay reboot your windoze update needs updating so either it's a firewall problem at our end or microshaft have screwed up.

...strange, I got two automatic updates an hour ago...

looks like it was our cache servers messing up. It suddenly started working this afternoon after the cache was due to dump it's old files.
Something they shouldn't really cache.
