I think the thing that everyone has missed thus far is that this is just a cheap way to make some headlines for a poor game. The US itself is messed up in this reguard. You can't show something natural like a woman's breasts on TV, but showing someone blowing up bodies and what not in an action moive is fine. They are more conserned about being the Moral Cops when it comes to sex, rather then Voliance. I wonder which one causes more problems

From what I've read it's my understanding that Acclaim wanted the game to be identical on all platforms.

However, Sony didn't like the nudity and since Acclaim couldn't really justify it they were forced to remove it. Sony also supposedly didn't like the fact that the ESRB only gave the title an "M" rating, but that's another issue.

I'm basing this on what this article says here and also an article found in the January 2003 Official Playstation Magazine. The Official Playstation Magazine web site has a poll on this.

Actually this isn't the first PS2 game I've seen that has nudity. There's a game from japan called Battle Raper for it. Like Mortal Kombat, but you get to rape your opponent after you beat the shit of them. Now talk about MESSED UP! It was for the PC and the PS2.

I agree with Gurm, I hate people too.

Reminds me 100% of Southpark the Movie. Where Kyle's mom is saying that deplorable violence is ok, as long as there isn't any naughty language.
