    Image quality when using DVI

    Hi,

Everybody here should know that Matrox cards gives the best 2D image quality.
How about when using DVI, with a LCD monitor in high resolution(above 1280) ? Does Matrox cards still command this advantage over other brands such as ATI ?

    Regards,
    Joe Lau.

DVI display quality should be the same between cards, since its a digital data stream, and as long as you follow the spec its going to look the same.

      Thanks for the reply.

That's what i guess also. I'm upgrading to a LCD monitor(18" or above) so thinking of scrapping my G400 for a cheaper ATI card with DVI.
