I have my Samsung ML1430 hooked by Parallel to my tower, and USB for my laptop. I never had any problems, tho I never tried printing at the same time. This is without cycling the power on the printer.

This will be a shelving unit for Luke's room. The idea is that the bottom shelf has a lip the same height as the lip of his cabin-bed, so he can hook the ladder on it and get at his things safely. It'll be a bit like the carcass of a kitchen wall-cabinet, except it will be strong enough to take the load from the ladder being used. Rabbits (rebates ) on the corner joints & a stop-dado for the middle shelf.

I also need to customise some doors for the lounge (can't get the right size anywhere) and then the big project will be wardrobes with a bridging unit for our bedroom.

I know, I forgot to mention that I tested it with two other systems as well... Results were the same. They were all running Win2K though.

1/ did you follow the install procedure described on the manual?
2/ did you check their site for various incompatibilites?

            (gotta ask )
