    WinXP won't shut down.

    Suddenly, yesterday my system decided to quit shutting down or restarting. Only the switch technique seems to work.

    Here are my system specs:

    AthlonXP 1700+ 1.47ghz@1.97ghz
    Epox 8K3A+ Bios 2B01
    Matrox Parhelia 128mb
    Philips Acoustic Edge PSC706
    512mb Samsung PC2700
    2x60gb Seagate Baracuda ATA IV

    Sp1 is installed as well as all relavent patches.

    The only changes made to my system in the last few days were the addition of a Logitech Elite keyboard via USB and a Samsung ML-1210 printer via USB...

    I would greatly appreciate any assistance, as I've never run into this before...

          Does removing your new USB stuff help?

          I'd guess at a power saving issue with the BIOS, but I'll let an actual 8K3A+ owner advise on better BIOSes
