In 9X, you can use 6.82 even though it is not officially supported and use video tools 2.04.15a (mjpeg) or 2.10.010a though again not officially supported if you wanted to add that to your site. I have tried it every so often even though I usually use my GF2.

I know for 6.82, but not tried 02.04.15a/02.04.15b on Win98/ME.
How it works? On my WinXP system it's very stable.
