    A Steal!!

I know some of you may turn your noses up at linux, and indeed to a degree I do as well (though since I got red hat recently i've changed my mind a bit) but I just got a great deal!!

The entire SuSE linux 7.0 for a whopping $2.00!!! Yes the decimal is in the right place, two dollars it comes with three CDs three manuels, some fassion fab stickers and a bling bling linux panguin button to wear, what more could one ask for

Any way I'm sorta excited, I guess we'll see just how good it is when it is put to actual use...

Just to remind you, 8.1 is the newest SuSE AFAIK. Still a great deal, of course

Well there are two nice things about this deal,

First the upgrade is downloadable, sans charge
      and
Second even if it turns out to be complete crap, it was still only $2.00!

I think you'll like Suse - I've owned a few versions and was happy with all of them. The shame about Linux is the lack of mainstream game support -so I've alway dual booted with it.

Yeah - although OpenOffice is a HUGE step forward, IMHO. And there's even a preview Opera 7 for it

suse updates/upgrades is free to download but you do not get
support for the upgrades if u dont purchase them, however, u could always search the suse support base for solutions if u encounter any problems
