I also got myself some new toys!!!

Well I just ordered 3 crucial components to get my rig up to snuff.

    1, XP 2500+
    2, Epox 8RDA3+
    3, A pair of 512MB Twinmos-Winbond PC3200 Dimms.

These things will pair up with my R9700Pro and hopefully create a marvelous gaming rig!

Some OC'ing action will take place ofcourse!

    Ahh, I'm happy.

I just hope everything turns out well, as I spent all my money on this upgrade.

          Good luck! I just got the 8rda+, XP2500+ and 2*256MB PC3200 Twinmos/winbond.

The CPU will hit at least XP3200+ levels, but I haven't got the memory stable beyond 180MHz, despite replacing the Northbridge HS and adding one to the Southbridge (both with the Zalman NB32J).

I use memtest86 which locks after a while, and I have to completely turn off the PC for some time before I can get back into the BIOS and reset things.

You got almost exactly the same things I got.

The very reason I got the 8rda3+ is that it's supposed to be easier to hit 200MHz FSB.

Regarding the mem, I hope I have better luck than you.

Funny how you never get the overclock values that reviewers get. Is it a case of handpicked motherboards??
