Can you say if there is banding or not?
Hi Dr Mordid, What is your p750 like?

One thing I don't understand is why use it? Except for the probable absence of banding, it should be inferior in every way to the fully-fledged Parhelia...are you just trying it out for a few weeks or do you really intend to use it on a more permanent basis? All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Well - how about PRICE. Here in Australia your fully-fledged Parhelia is so far out of my price range my pockets spontaneously combust whenever I think about it (~ $800- $1200). My G450 could do with a little spicing up - so I am looking at the P650 and P750 with great interest indeed.Originally posted by lecter

I'm refering to the doc's cards...he already had a Parhelia.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

For a minute I thought I had timewarped back 3 years and you were all talking about a Pentium 750...

Three? Hell, I think it's even more than that. Athlon Thunderbirds came out about 3 years ago...well over 1Ghz. Might even be about 4+ years since a 750 was out. Man, we've had some good CPU power for quite some time now.Originally posted by KvHagedorn

Isn't that the PII-300 that clocked at 450 (4.5 x 66 to 4.5 x 100)?Go back a couple more and remember the PIII450, now that was a class over clocker.Join MURCs Distributed Computing effort for Rosetta@Home and help fight Alzheimers, Cancer, Mad Cow disease and rising oil prices.

The Celeron 300a was the one everyone would overclock to 450. In fact in my friend's main PC, that's still what he has (of course he has a 1.6ghz Pentium 4 laptop now....)
