nope there's either a design flaw in the monitor or the cable that comes with it is crap, since I know at least 2 or 3 other people with the same monitor and WITH the same problem as well

I hope it's the cable, otherwise I'm going to swap it by Iiyama as many times as it takes till I get a good one.

My VM Pro 452 (MA901U) has some problems as well. Something I'd call banding, fuzziness, and worst of all, "dancing pixels" (like viewing something through hot air). Oh, and beeping, and giving me a headache. My now over 6 years old Iiyama VM Pro 17 still has an absolutely great picture (but sadly is going darker slowly).

Got a Vision Master Pro 512. It doesn't ghost but suffers from convergance and starts going fuzzy over 85hz which is poor.

My Iiyama 450 had the same problem az. I can happily say that my new 20" TFT doesn't

I still swear by my 5 year old Sony 17se II's.
Still hard to find anything else as sharp.

And I love being able to adjust the convergence.

I've been convinced for a while that Iiyama take a loooooong time over cherry-picking the review units they send out...

Some are good, some are bad. Every now and then they make a good series of screens. Now I think is not the time to go Iiyama, but a year ago they had very nice TFT screens (like the my AS4315UT). I also bought an S702 (SG702?) for personal use ut it went all fuzzy after a year or so. I opened it and set the focus right again but it got pretty bad moiré. Couldn't correct that. The VM 450 Pro was a great screen for the price but it lasted only so far. In the end I should have bought an Eizo... I always thought Sony was selling overpriced cr*p. Not a single screen I sold/had had a proper picture right out of the box nad tweaking it didn't always (or rather never) set it perfectly right...
