Tool to find out where NT domain users are logged onto?

Hi all,

Anyone got a tool which will give me a list of users and where they're logged on to (PC name/IP address)? Even if I just enter one user and find where they are on?

I had a VB program that would do it by checking the event logs on your Domain controllers for the last logon from each PC in the domain and return that as the username logged into that machine.

It was accurate enough for what I needed, but took about 10 minutes to run, with 100 or so PCs connected to 2 domain controllers.

If you have admin access . . .

from any 2K or XP machine on the network:

1. Go into the Administrative Tools control panel.
2. Open up "Computer Management".
3. Click on the "Action" menu and then "Choose Another Computer".
4. Enter the name of the domain/login server or of a machine that you know they are connecting to and click OK.
5. Open up "System Tools" -> "Shared Folders" -> "Sessions".

Voila! Including connection time.
