    Current £100 Inkjet of choice?

Any advice please? Mainly to be used for WP, but some phoito work too. Preferably individual colour cartridges but I imagine there won't be many of those at this price point.

    TIA

Whatever you can get hold of for 40-50 quid (excess stock/end of line etc) from somewhere like Morgan ... as long as it includes cartridges. Then simply replace the whole printer when your ink runs out . That's what I did with a Xerox (which still has colour ink but no black but then I never use it anyway...) - not exactly environmentally friendly but if you simply want a cheap n cheerful printer it may be the best option.

Nice idea George, but not really a goer as this is for a little old lady living several hundred miles away who needs reliability above all.

I'd probably suggest either the Canon i560 or the i860...

Oh well, then in that case I dunno Tony... don't keep very up-to-date with printers.

That's the trouble...it's not something you buy very often and so not easy to keep in touch.

I like my HP 3750. It was £99.

@Paddy - I think that has been discontinued.

@K6-III - Not much luck finding those either!

Anyone with an opinion on the Epson C84UX?

Epson does have individual cartridges, but as with all Epsons, the printhead is not removable....

I went with the Epson C84UX. My friend is extremely pleased with the quality of it, and the individual ink cartridges are a bonus. It also came with a free memory-card reader in the box.
