Just download the latest nightly, extract it and copy the files over to your existing Firebird directory.

Ok that seems to have worked, except that i lost my theme and a few custumizations, but all the other options are still the same. i totally love the new options, looks 10x better than the old ones. will it make me replace IE? maybe

thop, the reason why you've lost your theme (I'm guessing skin) is because the old ones aren't compatible with 0,7. And if you mean general layout and settings...that shouldn't happen - Firebird doesn't store this in browser catalog

(even extensions are stored outside of it if you choose to install them just for your profile, not globally)
I just delete old builds completely and everything is ok.

Ok it appears there are still bugs. I have no scrollbar

and the password manager "remember for next time" thing is always unchecked.

Nowhere: The google thing reappeared even though i had it disabled. But that was actually the only thing

Another question: how do i uninstall extensions? Only lets me disable them.

Lack of scrollbar is typical if you try to use old skin with new Firebird (or even AFAIR when they are in Firebird skin directory) - just delete them all

, go to Firebird site and download new ones.

I don't have a problem with pasword menager in my build - but it's newer one, and there was such bug some time ago I think...I'd advise you t just download one of recent aebrahim builds from links I've posted earlier

and wait till the oficial 0,7.

which one is the aebrihim build for athlonXP? i only saw G5/G6/G7 build

so i got another one (i think psion built or sth.) and that didnt work at all.

scrollbar works now

The one specifically optimized for AthlonXP you have here
And here's the latest one, also optimized for Athlon (and P4) architecture from what I can see, but without req for SSE/SSE2.
The speed difference between them shouldn't be noticeable I think...but if you want you can check yourself

I personally use the first one now - the fastest for sure, and there weren't any bugs fixed during those 3 days that I care of.

I was once a Opera user. I however swayed away from it when Pheonix came out

I duno, this browser is more comfortable than opera. Its not as bloated.

But i really like the the ...whats it called...mouse gesture function in opera! thats really cool

If there is any functionallity you are looking for that isn't in Mozilla or Firebird check out mozdev because there are a lot of nifty add-ons.

Gave 0.6.1 a try and like it, simple and fast enough (Opera's faster but it crashes on me

).
If I leave firebird windows opened and go do something else when I get back I loose mouse wheel functionality in those windows, have to reload the page or load another to get it back

edit: Forgot, the posting windows are quite annoying.

reedit: 0.7 doesn't have the scrolling problem. Looks like I have myself a new browser, hope it's stable and I'll get used soon to the shrinked message windows.

Firebird has one good thing for it.
It can display this: http://www.citay.de/links/sumo/files/test.html properly.
IE and Opera are a bit off on that one. Try them out and see.

Firbird 0.7 so far is excellent, aside from a few instabilities. Still makes IE look like it was programmed by a kid.
