Checking the voltages on the other machine of the swapped power supply and they're steady as a rock. No huge swings.

I wondering now if the motherboard took out the memory stick and my soundcard during the last few weeks.

It may be that the soundcard went and took the MB with it, or something like that.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

We'll take a sweep stake and it'll be the processor.

Well the replacement memory has arrived pity I can't use it. Awaiting the new motherboard and Thermal grease as I've run out.

Swapped the motherboard and the voltages are stable sadly the computer wasn't. Kept dropping out of 3dmark until I locked the agp and pci frequencies. Now if it runs stable no way of telling for a while it'll be a funny fix. I'm begining to think it's the cpu though.
