Mail reader

Hi all, I need a new mail reader.
I'm really happy with OE, it has everything I need, a consistent interface, it's stable like a rock. And, with OE-Fix it's really on the top.

Only, it miss two features that have begun critical for me now:
1) It can't "threadize" the mails, like if it's a NG
2) It's noisy when I have to format and I have to play a bit to recover the old mail.

So, any good suggestion?

Any others? The two above are, as usual, coded by programmers who thinks they know everything.
And, in fact, they sucks.

Huh?

PMail can sort messages in a number of ways, including by thread (as you indicate that you want)

And when it comes to having to format, you just have to move the PMail directory to another drive and once you've reinstalled your OS you just move it back to the original drive and you're back in business. No need to reinstall the program, back up your mail or anything else.

It's got great filtering capablilty, is virtually impossible to catch a virus through (unless you are *really* dumb), has built in encryption (or you can use PGP, or a number of other external encryption programs)

Handles attachments extremely well

Has a great gui (in my opinion)

And a number of other strengths.

Last, but not least, it's free.

Try The Bat!, IMHO it's the best MUA for Windows.
