Homemade CPU Tray(s)?

I do not have the original OEM trays that 2 processors shipped in. Is styrofoam an acceptable alternative for shipping them? (I have anti-static bags)

Its good to have some kind of hard cover around them, if someone drops or squashes the pacakge you have a lot less chance of bent pins...

I'll put them in a little cardboard box then surround it with peanuts... should be ok for the mistreatment that packages go through. Thanks.

I hang onto the plastic snap-box thingies they come in. Have a drawer with a dozen in there.
