    That's the average for Comcasts upgraded cable service after running 5 different speed tests. I now have it

            CNET's bandwidth meter seems to underestimate. Try http://maine.rr.com/03/speedtest/speedtest.asp.

            CNET said mine was 1300 as well.

                      I'm getting around 1.6-1.7 mbps, depending. Comcast is SUPPOSED to be rolling out the increased bandwidth here by year's end, though. So we should be seeing 3mbps pretty soon (I hope!).

                            Rogers Cable, Toronto ( no alternatives here other than satellite.. which just is not a good option)
                            Rogers used to offer 3Mbit, then dropped their service to 1.5Mbit, without dropping the price for new subscribers
