    Gigabyte GA-8IK1100 revision 1.0 & Prescott support

I know there's probably only one more person on the forums that owns this board but, the F9 bios has some interesting release notes:
    1. Micro code update
    2. Fixed ICH5 SATA RAID can't disable issue
    3. Fixed NT4.0 can't install with Prescott CPU
    Could it be ?

(revison 2.0 of this board officially supports P4 EE and Prescott processors)

Apparently all current Gigabyte models support VRM 10.0 and FMB 2.0.

Prescott needs VRM 10.0 and FMB 1.5.

[H] has got sth on this.

Why is it that the bastard child first versions of the P4 with 421(?) pins suddenly flashes through my mind?

Is Intel again going to stuff-up royally?
