So I'm truly screwed then. What does work for you Kurt?

I've been using the D-Link DI-624+ for a while now, via a couple of wired ports and via the wireless on my Acer Ferrari. Not a single hiccup, not a single router restart, nothing. Speaking for myself, its been great. The feature set is excellent.

In the next week, I'll be installng a couple of wireless networks all based on Netgear stuff (DG834G plus PCI/PC card adapters). I'm hoping there's no problems there too.

They all work, but none is perfect. Linksys is OK for low-end stuff. The advantage you have is that he user base is big, and there's plenty of info out there. It's cheap and readily available too.

I have a level one router.

The only problem I had was 2 clients on the game server from same connection getting interrupts, which a firmware update fixed, no interrupts.

The 3COM Office connect stuff is OK, but has little features for it's price.
