extract audio from DVD

I just got a music DVD (it was given as promotion ), and like to be able to play the music in my car. What software can be used to extract the audio from the DVD?

Note that you can only extract the audio from DVD-Video discs. If it's an actual DVD-Audio disc, there are still people working on how to rip them.
