So I've been having this problem with my notebook screen, it keeps flickering, from bright to dim and back again. I had installed the "hacked" Cat 4.5 drivers, and thought it was from that, so I reinstalled the new ATI/HP compatible drivers, fairly new actually. It kept doing it anyways. The refresh is at 60 Hz, the only mode for it. Should I take it in? It's over a year old.

I think I still have the super duper extended warranty, so I'll take it in. And it does just the opposite schmosef, it only does it after I have the screen up and running for about 15-20 minutes, then it starts going in and out.2.4 GHz P4 :: 1024 MB RAM
