                    478 = The more mainstream socket for Pentium 4 CPUs

                    There is a newer socket called 775, its on sale, but speed wise the "prescott" CPUs used on these sockets aren't that good, and the Intel chipsets are plagued with problems.

                      the electricity usage and consquential heat output of those things is amazingly bad. It'll burn into your electricity bill.
