    DirectX

Does anyone know if there is a resolution limit as to what DirectX can support? How about OpenGL acceleration?

I know most graphics cards say they support 3D acceleration up to 2048x1536, but I was wondering if that is a limitation of the card, driver, or what DirectX can do?

    P does 3840*1024, so I guess it's not a DX limitation.

It's limited by the card. e.g. Radeons (below R300 at least) can only accelerate up to a 2048x2048 "context" (think window).
Blah blah blah nick blah blah confusion, blah blah blah blah frog.
