I don't think you CAN quick-format a drive the first time. I thought when a partition was first created you had to do a full format?

I thought you couldn't quickformat a new drive either, but apparently you can. Win2k and XP setup can do it. But I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to do a full format on a new drive anyway - it couldn't hurt.
As for the Thermaltake case, it appears to have the same innards as the Antec 3700-series cases but a different exterior design. If you don't care too much about the outsides, you can save some money by getting the Antec 3700AMB. In terms of cooling they should be similar. The 3700AMB might be quieter though since it's made out of steel rather than aluminum (the extra weight helps for dampening).

Basic summary: 7700 is a bit better for cooling than the 7000, but is not any quieter. Also, the Cu version is 918 grams, which is pretty damn heavy. Thermalright XP-120 outperforms both, but is more expensive. However the XP-120 is lighter (all-aluminum).Comment

3700 was my first choice, however only comes with a 350w power supply unit. I am not in the US so negotiating for a PSU less case is going to be bothersome. That being said I'd love the 3700BQE.[size=1]D3/\/7YCR4CK3R

The Antec SLK3000B is similar to the 3700 cases but doesn't come with a PSU. It has the less restrictive fan grille of the 3700BQE but the better HD cage of the AMB.Comment
