No right-click in IE?

For some odd reason, I'm unable to right click, or even CTRL+C and CTRL+V in IE.

I'm running Windows XP SP2, with all the latest updates, apparently no spyware.

Any clues?

Note: everything works just dandy in Firefox.

Remember, even keyboard commands (CTRL+V) Don't work in IE.

Hmm... try left-clicking my sig :P (sorry, I can't help you - though if I think about it, this is the best advice I can give about IE problems )

I've seen this problem before, though a restart quickly fixed it. Assume that you've tried that route already.

hmm. I think I vaguely remember a virus or spyware being the cause. But I could be wrong.

It's possible, but AdAware did not pick it up...

If AdAware does not find it try Spybot S&D .
I always use both.

Not to mention that MS's AntiSpyware Beta program finds a few more that the Ad-Aware/Spybot S&D combo.

mwav is a nice little freebie and tells where and what the nasties are. It'll clear some viri off but it'll just tell you where the spyware is.

Good backup to Spybot Ad-Aware and Ms Antispy.

Not much survives after them four have been looking at the system.

Not true mainly. Besides it gives you a list so you can check yourself. The number of false positives from the earlier Giant version has nearly got too zero.
