Schmo: the analogue out on my Gigabyte PCIe 6600GT seems to be fine to me at 1600x1200 - not noticably different from my Parhelia. AFAIK they've come on a long way since the crappy filters days. But probably also worth avoiding any real no-name brands you might come across.

I use DVI, so my 6600GT's analog equipment doesn't get much of a workout.
However, given the decent construction of my Palit 6600GT, with good heatsink and high quality electrolic capacitors, the analog filters will probably also be quite good.80% of people think I should be in a Mental Institute
