I have got a new desk in my study and it has a sheet of glass over polished woodgrain. My MX700 refuses to track at all - would an MX1000 fair any better?

I've seen reviews saying it does work on glass, and my MX1000 words flawlessy on my very shiny woodgrain desk, which standard opticals have had issues with.
Its only £44 at e-buyer now too!

I can even use the MX1000 on bright red surfaces, which normal opticals can't track at all.

worst case, you tape a piece of paper down with your favorite picture !. Seriously, i have not had a problem with mine on any surface yet, including glass (admittedly not totally clean !) . And the mouse fits like a glove!Comment
