I've been looking for a decent interface device to serve as a mixer/pre-amp so that I can capture directly to my laptop. If possible, I'd like to get something that offers at least two phantom-powered inputs and either USB or Firewire outputs.
I've located this Edirol M-100FX and was wondering if anyone knew about it.
Also, what are some suggestions for recording a baby grand piano, as far as mic placement?
