Sasq: he also had a version check in it, I told him to just check for Opera and version >=7 (which he already did, only to send it crippled code), and to handle these versions like IE (or Moz, can't remember). This would have solved all the problems much more easily and elegantly than what he did. Besides, I'm not even sure Opera 6 doesn't work on this (haven't tried).

It has now been released officially (www.opera.com).

      Changelog.

So, any questions about how to get the old MDI buttons back etc.?

I knew that alternative browser percentage was high in Poland, but I didn't realize Opera cares...(especially since if somebody here isn't entitled to free licence, it's unlikely that he'll pay; OTOH price for polish users is 11USD...still OTOH - most people don't have credit cards (only the ones for electronic use))

edit: az, why the default place it wants to install to is the folder of Opera beta? (I suppose I should install it to program files/opera instead; and I suppose all my saved sessions will be intact?)

its not even available in norwegian which it clearly should be

Bleh az, that's nothing, you should check this page (warning: you'd be better if you'll have nothing else opened in Opera). Luckily it's just some frustrated individual with terrible meritorically site (also with content stolen from other site)

btw, do you have the equivalent of our List of Donkeys of Polish Internet ?

I'm sorry Nowhere, but I can't read polish, so I don't know what the person's been writing

But his site "design" hurt my eyes

Crap, this site isn't as "funny" under Opera as it used to be... :/ (it caused basically need to kill Opera from resource menager)
But - what you see isn't the real site, and at the bottom there's funny explanation in English (you have to scroll with wheel the part in khaki colour)

Lol, what a dork. BTW - when Opera crashes, it doesn't matter if I have many windows open - they are reopened on the next start of Opera

We used to have sloreactor but it was taken down for linking to some of local content (recordings of concerts, albums,...).

Ahhh...unfortunatelly, I'd add. You see, his page had some scripts that would practically lock Opera...and it was of course one of the reopened also, so here we go again (not a problem if lots of sites open...but if few it menaged to load offending page instantly)

It's finished, but it's still a beta? Interesting, though it doesn't do me much good given the Mac version is lagging behind yet again (maybe that means it won't behave like it's having a seizure).

Did install it on my Windows test system, and I'm quite happy that it behaves itself and gladly accepts my serial for 7.

Interestingly enough, after they switched the banner bit from reading beta to not, it broke the layout in Safari. Strange.

As an aside, I hope they paid browser man a nice sum of money.

You're right, this would require a quick middleclick to the last tab

German donkey sites.. hmm.. eselfilme. com and goldesel. 6x. to come to mind, but there are maaaany, these are just very big. There are also specialized sites. I don't know what these two link to btw, it's just that I see their name in the donkey when searching for movie trailers or game demos, trial versions etc. very often.
