    Anybody want this? (gf4ti)

    I have a GF4ti4200-8x, and in my genious managed to snap off a capactitor (SC155), and I think I saw another cap blow (SC152). Both are 0603 or 0402 SMD parts, there is lots of free space around them so soldering should not be a big problem for someone with a fine iron and some experience. A very butchered Arctic Cooling VGA silencer is also included (wouldn't fit on the damn non-standard layout card), the mounting of which caused the component to be snapped off.

    I'm gonna get a 6600gt tomorrow.

      I am pretty sure I can fix it, I just hope that the card has not been damaged beyond that.
      I am sure there are others more worthy of this card, but if nobody else wants it, I'll take it

                      LOL @ you guys.

                      At this point I'd suspect you guys are gonna have the General Hardware/Software forum reload every second so that you can finally beat tjalfe to one of these threads. Although maybe that's what he is already doing

                                  if someone else wants it, go ahead and fight for it.. I said I would take it if nobody else wanted it ( seeing how it required solder work, which is part of what I do for a living )

                                              I was a bouncer at a bar part time, while still doing my day job .. that stopped as my girlfriend did not like that idea ( I wonder if she stumpled across some of the pictures from there )
                                              Day job is a little of everything, from IT to product assembly to programming.. got to love small companies

                                              And yes gurm, good luck soldering .. 0603 is pretty small ya know

                                                          I could probably try and fix it myself, but well... it was a nice excuse for getting a new graphics card and I don't need it. Gurm, I'll look up shipping fares to the US
