G450 eTV and driver for G550

i'm marvel g450 etv user (working with photos, no need 3d) and there is last recommended driver for winxp - 5.82.018 - .. but i'm manually install last driver for G450-550 - 5.93.009 -
i don't see any problem with using video tools - 2.10.010a - but i'm interest.. if it works, why is matrox don't use this new driver for etv? is there some hide compatibility or performance conflict? i have no a time for indeep tests, so anybody known?
