    Netgear SC101 Storage Central

Anyone got any experience with this

I have a machine that runs all the time as a file server and jukebox, I've got an alternative for the jukebox so I'm thinking about getting one of these instead of running a whole PC.

carefull, you'll need to install software on every PC that will need to connect to this.......100ish plus 1/2 ata-6 drives adds up quick too
Better to let one think you are a fool, than speak and prove it

Software isn't too much of a problem (not keen but I don't see an alternative at the moment), for the next few months I'm only going to have my main PC and a Laptop, going to be a while before I employ any staff and have to worry about more PC's.

It's the space thing that's bugging me really, this thing is tiny, only alternative I can think of is a mini PC but that would cost a bit more then this unit with two 120GB drives.
