I would try the 32-bit XP drivers (assuming that's what you're installing, 64 for 64). It should work. I've had decent success getting XP drivers working on Vista.“Inside every sane person there’s a madman struggling to get outâ€

Anyone running Vista in VMWare?
I've now started a download, and will test it in VMWare (not risking my running system).
I've read that it should work, but that you need to partition the "drive" with something else (XP cd or whatever).

It works fine in VMWare. Just make sure you give it at least 384MB of RAM (512MB is better), and at least a 32GB virtual HD.
