Got my ATI X1900XTX!

Been cheaper to buy an X1900XT and clock it up to XTX speeds. They do that quite easily.

Yeah the new refresh is coming out, The X1950XTX should be out in mid September.

re: avivo encoder

i've been using it to encrypt my fraps videos. i haven't really noticed anything spectacular. CPU usage is still 100% while encoding.

i also have nothing to compare to. also there doesn't seem to be any h.246 encoder
