    Release notes and changelog not out yet. From what I've seen online this version fixes a lot of misc junk. Hopefully it adds Vista support, too. But the download is going so slow...

      Vista support is already present in the form of the highly recommendable Nero 7 Lite package...google it and try it, works great! (removes a lot of the junk Nero comes with by default, as well)

          Hey does Nero Lite take care of the "can't install Recode without also installing a mountain of bad codecs that wreck your system" issue?

                      You're installing a program that uses XviD in an attempt to avoid using bad codecs?

                      That's like stuffing a lit stick of dynamite in your shorts to avoid castration

                      Hint: XviD is BUGGY. In the video forums for Ulead and other programs it's one of the major problems we have to deal with.

                          Xvid isn't the only codec there...


                          BTW, as for it's "buginess" - at least it don't trash the system like many prioprietary codecs
