Sure haven't. That's a lot of features for the price.

The image looks photochopped to me, could be a scam!

Maplin is quite a respectable electronics dealer, I think.

I don't know how the law is in the UK, but in Germany, you can return goods you bought online within 14 days even if you used them and you have to get all your money back, including shipping, and a restocking fee is illegal. If it's like that, why not buy it if you're interested? The bad english kinda puts me off, though - doesn't have to mean much, of course, since most players come from china anyway.

To be a little more helpful: Looks like the MP4-8466 from Shenzhen Zhouxun Electronics, sold under the brand name "COSIO".

Alibaba might give some more info and has lots of other cheesily-named cheap chinese chipgraves listed.

While googling I also found this and that.

                Thanks Az.

Looks quite interesting, but I'm not really in the market. It looks like good value, esp with 1GB ram. If it had been a somewhat larger screen it could have been an interesting photo-preview device (although I have my Axim for that). /me feeling rather skint this month (and next...) anyways.

I actually sell these little bad boys through my retail business. Not at that price though! I personally charge £44.99 for a 2GB version with a 1.8" colour screen. Mine have MTV/AMV player, MP3 player, Photo veiwer, FM radio as well as voice recorder. Great value, not as well put together as an apple product but you are only paying half of the price.
