    There's not an option for 1 core, 2 CPU's
When you own your own business you only have to work half a day. You can do anything you want with the other twelve hours.

I think you would be hard pressed to find half-core dual-processor computers

My main rig is running a single-core A64. I'm so ashamed!

Wait, no I'm not! It's still really fast!

Voted 2 Cores - 2 CPUs, I only counted physical cores otherwise it would have been 4 Cores - 2 CPUs
                  Main: Dual Xeon LV2.4Ghz@3.1Ghz | 3X21" | NVidia 6800 | 2Gb DDR | SCSI
                  Second: Dual PIII 1GHz | 21" Monitor | G200MMS + Quadro 2 Pro | 512MB ECC SDRAM | SCSI
                  Third: Apple G4 450Mhz | 21" Monitor | Radeon 8500 | 1,5Gb SDRAM | SCSI

I'm begining to think my Athlon XP 2000 overclocked to 2600 might count as a half core here.

What would you call hyperthreading? If you consider it 2 cores, than the anser is:
main rig: 4 cores, 2 cpu's (dual Xeon Prestonia)
                          laptop: 1 core (Centrino)
                          parent's: 1 core (PentiumII)
