    Have I seen it all now? :p Intel CPU on a erm AMD chipset

    I used to run a AMD DX4x25MHz (100MHz) processor on a board using an Intel chipset

    now this has turned up.. I'd feel weird though!

    I used to run an AMD 386DX-40. I think that was on an Intel chipset too

      The Promise controller on the DFI board is the slowest of all solutions with the Marvell controller on the Intel 975X performing slightly better.
      Well it would be if it's hanging off the PCI bus
