I joined seti and murc 2-3 days ago and have done 4 units, but i cant se that murc has received my credits, what am i doing wrong

The list only shows the top 100 users and I hear it is only updated once a day. The minimum units completed for anyone on the list is currently at 2, so maybe last time it was updated you had 2 or less units completed? Just a possibility.

This SETI@HOME thing gave me an idea..

How about a similar system to achieve something that is actually useful.. like rendering raytraced pics/animations.. Now wouldn't that be nice?

I'm not 100% sure, but open the internet options go to the connections tab open the settings of your default connection and in the advanced Dial-up settings check the 'disconnect if idle for ## minutes' checkbox.

That should disconnect you even if your card or ISP isn't able to do that

Thanks, but that is not possible with this card, the option is greyed out, so no go. It’s a Diva pro 2.0. Any other suggestions ?

I have an ISDN card that doesn't have the option to disconnect after N minutes, dose anyone know about a utility that can handle this? Its killing my seti stat that i have to manually connect and disconnect. Basically a dunes but for win 98.

I don’t know what T/A is? This card is a Eicon Diva Pro 2.0 PCI, it’s a active ISDN card with its one DSP and 80k memory, how do you do it with T/A maybe I can do it the same way?

T/A means Terminal Adapter.
Ok, do you have "Eicon Diva T/A ISDN Modem" software installed? You can adjust many settings of Eicon modems by that. It's available from their site.
I've played with external Divas only, so I don't know about the one you have but I'd give it a try.
