External hot-swappable RAID 1

My employer needs a backup solution, so we're looking for an inexpensive external rack for at least 3 3.5" harddrives, hot-swappable, should automatically mirror.

The idea is to take one or two drives home and have always at least one drive in the unit.

Speed isn't too important, at the moment we use a USB HDD anyway.

Reliability, Price, ease of use and low noise (the server is next to the door to the boss's office) are important.

I was thinking of something like this, with 3 Samsung F1s.

We would probably connect it via USB again, and just replace the old disk.

Anything specific I should look for? Recommendations?

they make some decent, inexpensive enclosured. I have the n2050, or something like that. so far it has worked wonderfully, but you may end up replacing the noisy fan.

Drobo is a nice unit, but it is essentially a hybrid raid5 solution, so yanking a drive out will not take the data completely with it.

My brother has a ReadyNas NV+ (now owned by Netgear). It offers a configurable RAID configuration (0,1,5).
