WHats the best soft dvd player for my system?

Now I use Power DVD 2.0, and Cinemaster 99 (elsa), power dvd is a bit better than cinemaster, but is there a dvd player that has an athlon optimization (not k6 3dnow)?

my sys specs:

Athlon 500mhz
MSI MS-6167
Matrox G400 DH (not max)
Toshiba 6x DVD
SB PCI 128
128 RAM

Wouldn't the Athlon be able to take advantage of the K6 3dnow since it supports 3dnow+ ?

Paradox, yes, the Athlon can take advantage of the same K6-2/K6-III 3Dnow instructions. The Athlon contains a superset of those instructions. I don't know the nitty gritty low down of the new Athlon instructions. It has been a long time since I have done assembly programming.

As for me, I've stuck with the stock Matrox DVD player that came with my G400 DH.

Thundrchez - try WinDVD. It works with my G400 and gave me a much beter picture than the Cinemaster software.
