    DNS and zone transfers

    I'm getting into DNS, zone transfers etc. using bind (named) as secondary and PowerDNS as primary DNS.
    Any help, tips and links with good examples will be highly appreciated.

      just being curious... why do you want to host your own authoritative DNS servers? There are quite a few free options out there. I was wondering, 'cause that's what I use (gratisdns.dk and godaddy.com to be more specific).

          Same here (GoDaddy) at the moment, but the company I am working for has bigger plans which include AKAMAI delegation and more.
          Apparently I need to learn things such as split-horizon so I have two lists of servers (external and internal) etc.
