Abit BX133 RAID 500$ @_@ too bad I fried AGP slot on mine back in the day.

These prices are probably based on demand for people who build servers or hardware appliances that uses these components, and they want to have a drop-in replacement without having to worry about changing the hardware and validating the new configuration.
