    G400 DVD Software Questions.

    I am sure this has been covered a thousand times before, but does anyone know a sure fire, easy way to update the G400 software DVD player to the newest Cinemaster decoder engine?

    Actually, I should ask, does the G400 player actually do anything special over the Cinemaster 99 player? Is there some hardware acceleration code in there for the G400 or is it the plain old Cinemaster engine?

      The Best Sure-Fire way is to wait for Matrox to release an upgrade.

          Correct. We will be releasing an upgrade patch which will give you a new version for win98 along with win2k support.

                  LOL, sorry I just couldn't resist. But I'm sure the drivers to address the G200/Via issue will be out soon as well as Vid tools for Win2k.
