DVD o DIVx question

If someone knows how to convert DVD to DIVx
. I use flaskmpeg program but his decompression rutine sucks, so I cant make quality DIVx files. Anobody has something better?

FlaskMpeg is the easiest and best route. It usually AVG's around 8fps roughly.

I agree that its the easiest way, but I dont like its picture quality. Talking about decompressor. I did some uncompressed avi file from vob (DVD). Avi was about 8 times bigger then vob, but its picture sucks. So, what use of great compressor routine (DIVx) if base sucks? Is there some other better tool for making GOOD quality DIVx video?
