Sidewinder FF Pro...will it work with Win2K?
I can't find anything in the ole MS KB on whether this thing (or force feedback in general) is supported under Windows2000. I was going to buy one to go along with Starlancer...but not if it won't work with my system.

I'm no expert, but I remember hearing it was not supported and never will be. WinME is the one. -
Win2k has native drivers for all the Sidewinder series. Just plug the joystick, go to control panel -> game controlers -> add -> Microsoft Sidewinder (Auto detect)
At least it works fine with my sidewinder wheel force feedback. And yes, FF works!Comment
