    DDR Samuri chipsets are coming - next year :(

    We should be happy about this news. Micron will produce DDR RAM chipsets for both AMD and Intel CPU's. They will have all the bells and whistles including PCI66 and SMP for Athlons. Too bad we won't see them until next year:

    this Mircron chipset looks very promising indeed, very unlike all the 'good' VIA chipsets...

      VIA and ALi are licensing this technology to incorporate in their chipsets also.

        Too bad this is only a northbridge set. It's a shame to have to pollute one of these future motherboards with a VIA southbridge.
