    Laptop floppy pinout ?

Butchered one laptop with a fried motherboard, and was wondering if I could utilize the floppy drive on one of my desktops, but couldn't find the pinout for it.

Anyone happen to know it, or a link to a site that has it ?

Is it an extrnal or internal one? The external ones use an odd small SCSI connector as far as I"ve seen.

No idea of where you could get spec tho, sorry.

        Hi Pertti,

        if this doesn't help:

search for "hardwarebook" without the quotes.

You should get a few hits with a bunch of schematics for various connectors.

          Thanks Haig,

When the smoke clears, I'll know if I got the right one
