I haven't tried it personally as I sent my 2nd defective KA7-100 back and decided against getting another one

I've seen a few posts in other forums claiming the RAID options are removed with this new BIOS - I'll see if I can get confirmation.

The first one was DOA. Would not get past the POST screen no matter what I did.

The second was extremely crashy - i.e I could not even install Win98 without it crashing and corrupting the (partial) installation. Believe me I tried absolutely everything while trying to sort it out but all to no avail. I finally gave up and transfered the whole lot into/onto an Asus K7V, which has been absolutely rock solid since then.

        Chris.

Well my KA7-100 is almost stable!
The only issue is AGP 4x conflict with G400!
Oh, there is another strange think: I can't enter in Highpoint controller BIOS pushing CTRL H during post!
          I tried every KA7 BIOS!
But i think that i had to connect a drive into IDE 3/4 fo enter in the controller BIOS!

I've been informed that this (TY) BIOS revision doesn't support RAID if flashed on the KA7-100 - so if you are using RAID don't update to this BIOS.
